i know i have yet blogged bout it
neither have i posted pictures of the world music festival
will do it when i get my computer fixed
however, it does not stop me from missing it
it was the one time that musicians were treated like kings and queens in malaysia
or rather, they were respected
musicians, in malaysia, are still looked upon as poor useless things
some would acknowledge their talents, but thats about it.
a lot of event companies would hire musicians, and then treat them like crap while they lick the shoes of celebs
just goes to show how back dated malaysians are
wouldnt know how its like anywhere else in the world, but generally, in malaysia, thats the case.
i also miss how we could just walk down and play water polo with the other musicians.
it was one of the times that nearly everyone would come out and play
(not counting drinking sessions! haha)
its always fun to see croatians, canadians, kenyans, americans, malaysians, irish, and tibetan swish swashing around in a small pool trying to drive the ball home
there is also the beach
well, i dont think it can pass off as a beach seeing as its tiny and hopelessly shoreless
but still, it holds fond memories
besides, the last time i actually got to see a sunrise, or anything remotely close to it, was a long LONG time ago.
there were 2 meter long iguanas there too!
(eh, wait, were they iguanas or monitor lizards? are they the same???)
whatever it is, they were pretty cool
only got to see one
and it was walking so slowly into the rocks
its tongue sticking out like a doofus
one cool thing about the beach thou,
it had lots and lots of sea shells and star fishes!
i lurve the star fishes
forgot to bring some back.. sigh~
hmmm too bad the water was so dirty
would be nice to try to hunt for sea horses
what i miss most is the atmosphere and the company
would give anything to have that back
to be at the festival grounds with my friends
and to the beach with….
and, as they say, life is too short
way too short for regrets
never try, never know
but should i?
