there are a lot of people whom i respect.
and i respect all these people for various different reasons.
but nothing can compare to the new found respect that i have for this one particular individual.
let me tell u a little of what i know about this person.
she’s turning 21 in a few days time, if i’m not mistaken,
she is studying in HELP university college,
she’s doing her degree in psychology,
she’s cheerful and positive,
and she’s also pregnant.
what i respect so much about her is that she, at such a young age, made a conscious decision to keep the baby,
and to take up whatever responsibilities that came with her actions.
she recently married the man who was her boyfriend,
and she is also strong enough mentally to be open about it and to blog about it.
how many people can u find nowadays that can turn something that most people generally fear and shun, into something positive and uplifting.
i’m not saying that i know and understand the full story and struggles behind all this,
but from what i gather thus far,
she is able to talk about it openly,
and accept the consequences.
plus she is openly admitting that she is happy and enjoying the pregnancy!
i know it sounds a little like juno
but before u start all your sarcasm and scepticism,
stop and think.
would u, if u were in her position, do the same thing she did.
and if u are to answer “but i wont be in this situation in the first place”,
think again.
everything and anything is possible in this world nowadays, honey.
being in denial will not change things.
i will insert the link to her blog at the end of my post.
if anyone wants to post mean and spiteful comments on her blog, SAVE IT!
she does not need your mean-ness.
just because u think u are better then her, does not mean that u can say mean things to hurt her or anyone else.
if u want to comment, comment on MY blog.
NOT hers.
let this be a reminder and guide
that when u find yourself in a situation that seems dire,
taking a positive and courageous outlook may change your life
this girl has already shown more courage then half the youths around the globe.
so show some respect, please.
unless u can do better, of course.
