a simplicitacious life

{April 29, 2008}   oh the cowardice

u know, i can never understand all the ’too-damn-free’ and anonymous commenters

i mean, if u have something to say, say it to my face
or at least reveal who u are.
do u actually think that by hiding behind an anonymous front that u are actually doing any sort of good at all?

these days, the internet allows just about anyone to ’speak their minds’.
and of course there are pros and cons that comes with it.

but do u people honestly think that anyone will take u seriously when u cant even bring yourself to reveal your own identity?
u dont even take yourself seriously, so why should anyone else?

there’s just ONE word for people like this.

SAD

i got this email on my myspace.
and found it pretty hilarious.

its from a male with the nickname ’SexyGuy’
(the name itself made me laugh.. hahaha)
and when i saw his myspace URL, i laughed even harder!
it says myspace/bradpittts.
BRADPITTTS!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

this is what he said:
“U know what?u look better with long hair, short hair spoiled everything u know. I think ive seen you on tv, your pics are getting sexier and more clevage are visible. Your parents must be proud of u. :) Mini skirts, low tops,. Men will have one thing in mind only, and they definately wont wanna make you their wife. You are pretty, why dont you change? Right now, every men wants to fuck(sorry) you. Such a cute face, sad to see it getting ruined. Take care. Bye.”

this is MY reply:
:)
thank u for your ‘concern’.
i really love my short hair right now. its something different for a change.
my parents ARE proud of me. and i know that as a fact. they know that i’ve got more brains, personality and character that can never be bounded by what i wear.
well, if men are that shallow, it’s got nothing to do with me.
how a person dresses has nothing to do with how they are as a person.
how a person dresses up does not define who they are.
one more thing thou, i really am not bothered whether or not they want or dont want to make me their wife. :)
i’ve got a life to live,
i’ve got goals of my own to meet,
i’ve got a healthy group of friends to whom i know will always understand and accept me for who i am and who i will and aspire to be.
a picture may seem like a lot of things, but through the things that u just said, it some how or rather defined how u are as a person.
i’m sorry, i just cant take u seriously when u cant even take yourself seriously.
:)
U take care aight?
and thank u for humouring me :)

seriously, this guy’s got some shrunken tiny-ass balls sarcasm…… NOT
hahahahaha….
jeez, never fails to amuse me.

they think they’ve got me all figured out!
ha ha ha

{April 28, 2008}   the Emperor

i’m SO PROUD of adrian @ uncle, dinosour..!
he and yuri started out their own ‘company’ called the Factory
and its based in Hartamas.
Yuri is the music producer while adrian is into film production.

adrian has always aspired to produce feature films.
his movie studio @ the Factory is very well equipped with production and post production facilities.
and this i’m not kidding u!
i’ve been there, seen his stuff, and boy is this man ever proud of his equipment!
and gosh, u should get him to show u his sound system.
i’ve always loved listening to movie soundtracks in his little studio.
feels like u’re right there with the musicians!
plus the sofa is so damn comfy~
oh! and have i mentioned that he absolutely loves movie soundtracks?
:)

well, backtracking a little, adrian and his ’partner-in-crime’, Juliane Block recently did the music video for Frequency Cannon’s popular hit single entitled Girl.

(i personally thought dino would have been a better lead)

and if u ask me, i think these duo are one to look out for!
they’re really good at what they do, they’re creative, and they really have the passion and drive!
i’ve always liked how adrian’s eyes and face would light up when he’s talking bout his movies and his equipment and his music!
u rarely see such genuine enthusiastic spirit in people these days
(or maybe i’m just hanging out with waaaaay too ‘mature’ ppl)

ANYHOW, they’ve also recently just produced an independent international release movie!
its called the Emperor.
i’ve personally not seen it yet due to all the practices and stress for penang
but since its adrian and juliane, i can pretty much guarantee that its going to be AWESOME!

okay, enough of my rambling,
this is the write up to the Emperor.

“Emperor” by Juliane Block (Malaysia / Germany 2008, 90min)
Produced by The Factory Movie Studio & J-Blockbuster
Competes in the Online Film Festival “From Here to Awesome”

Filmsynopsis:
Based on the novel, EMPEROR is a murder mystery wrapped in an Asian crime thriller.

Po Sin, Victor and Felix grew up in the shadow of a major Malaysian crime figure. Their lives get complicated as a series of events suck Po Sin and Victor deep into the triad world while they struggle to protect Felix from a similar fate. A triad war erupts with Hong Kong gangs over lucrative international human trafficking contracts, while personal ambitions take their own toll. The Malaysian police hound Victor over an alleged string of sex crimes and matters spiral out of control.

About the festival:
The festival’s goal is to create a direct connection between filmmaker and audience. The programming of the festival is put directly in the hands of the audience. By harnessing the power of social tools, audience members will be able to discover, share and assist in programming the festival.

i mean, i wouldnt give up the chance to watch adrian acting hahaha
and besides, they’ve put a lot of hardwork and effort into this movie
so watch it, let me or them know how u feel about it!

happy watching!

{April 28, 2008}   the Young Visionaries

received an email from Weng Fai the other day and he was telling me about their cause and it’s dedication to helping orphans, raising awareness, getting funding for homes and etc.
and honestly, when i was reading the email, i had this warm feeling that i find hard to put into words.
for me, being involved with the orphanage and stuff, i’m beginning to see and meet more and more people who are generous with their time and energy when it comes to fighting for a cause that is close to their hearts.
this only goes to show, in even plainer sight, that the universe has a balance
that for every man who is ignorant, there is another who is compassionate, passionate and free-willing.

i really respect people, especially youths, who are willing to give up their time and energy into fighting for a better tomorrow.
it doesnt have to be something big.
it doesnt have to be something expensive.
its the time and effort that counts.
the kids do not see the money.
they barely even feel it’s presence.
what they need and feel is our time, our patience, and our guidance.

of course funds are necessary to get by.
but our presense in their lives are the things that would make a difference.
little things like spending an afternoon playing with them, or giving them tuition, or just listening to them.
thats what matters.
because the kids mirror us.
we’re somehow or rather their role models.

well, enough about my thoughts cos it’ll go on and on for hours.

below are the details to the Young Visionaries.

Young Visionaries is a continuity of a project born in year 2003 which focuses on bringing better changes to the less fortunate children in orphanages and shelters within the Klang Valley. It consists of three main components:1) To bring in foreign interns to work for the orphanages/shelters for 2 months through our wide AIESEC database.2) To organise weekly activities with the children from the 3 orphanages/shelters adopted by our initiative.3) To assist the orphanages/shelters in their fund raising activities.

AIESEC, on the other hand, is actually a global, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates which provides a platform for young people to develop their potential in the hopes of producing a positive impact on society, and Young Visionaries is a project initiated by AIESEC in Universiti Malaya.
True to the cause of our initiative we are working hard on spreading awareness about our initiative and also about the plight of underprivileged children in general. In addition to that we hope to get interested volunteers to assist us should we need them in upcoming fund raising activities organised by the orphanages/shelters. Thus, I would like to ask if you will be interested to help promote our initiative through your website. Given the large number of visitors to your website we hope that our aims can be achieved. If you’re interested to know more about our initiative and also about what we do in general you can visit us at http://youngvisionaries.wordpress.com.
If you have any queries regarding our initiative or AIESEC in general, please feel free to ask me anytime.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope to hear from you soon.

{April 28, 2008}   behind every laugh

okay, maybe the word ‘every’ does not cut it.
but i was just reminded that sometimes, when a person is laughing on the outside, it does not mean that they are truely happy.
and i have met a lot of people who are like that.
they cover up their unhappiness with laugher, or egoistic acts

i cant say that what they are doing is right or wrong.
everyone just has their own ways when it comes to dealing with things.
everyone has their frustrations and worries.
but what i’m frustrated about is that they wouldnt want to allow others into that circle of theirs.
behind all that machoism, there is a soft side which is hurting or wounded.
and sometimes, i’d like to help.
even if it means just sitting there.
we dont have to talk, we dont have to laugh.
i dont judge.
i wont judge u.
so its perfectly ok to be yourself sometimes.

its not easy having to put up a happy front all the time.
that i shoud know.
its tiring. and frustrating.
and sometimes u’d just wish that there’s somebody out there that u can rant and rant and rant on and on about things
without having to fear being judged.
or to just be entirely yourself without having to fear of what others would think about u.

yes i can say that i dont care what others think about me.
i really dont.
not when it comes to strangers that is.
but when it comes to friends, i’d like to think that i’m at least responsible for an explanation.
or rather, in other words, i just want to be understood.
so i’m guessing the same applies to just about everyone.
that at the end of the day, everybody just wants at least ONE person who’d be able to understand them.
even if its not entirely, but close enough.
its human connection. we thrive on it.

i’ve got to admit thou, that the reason why i sometimes do not want to talk about things is because i feel that people wont understand.
and sometimes i just do not have the patience to explain in full details.
and i feel that even then, no one will truely 100% grasp the intensity of my thoughts.
but thats just me.
and this is by no means something to take against me.

i guess, this time, its just my bit of frustration cos i feel as thou i’ve failed as a friend if i cant be there for them.
but whatever it is, just know that, even if u think i wont truely understand u, it wont hurt to just sit in silence.
and i’m willing to do that.

thou, on hindsight, after all is said and done, i personally dont even heed my own advice.
heh~
:P

i mean, kids nowadays put us ALL to shame!
watch this and tell me what u think

and this

now, do u see why i’m fighting for music in the lives of orphanes?

(that’s su ann’s hand)

i was SO DAMN excited!
only reason being that kenny was one of em…
so was brian and dom and a few others
but i went there supporting kenny and brian
oh and cos rashid was the MC again for the 4th time hahaha

u should have heard the screaming!
my throat’s still sore from all that screaming!

this time round i couldnt take that many pictures of the games and the dances that they had
was sitting a little too far behind
but it was a pretty good spot if u ask me
ten time better then being all the way in front and only being able to look up at them whilst being pushed around by all the other ppl

kenny didnt end  up winning any of ’em titles
but if u’ve noticed, it was all bias already
still, kenny did well
and we’re all damn proud of him!
and he’s such a cutie i tell u!
also another one like nawal…
just wanna schwqeeeeeeeeeeeeze!
ahahahahahahaha
plus he had to dance in some game
so entertaining
nak cubit pipi!
eeeeeeeeeeee…. geram~!

well, this year, the title went to none other then BRIAN LAU!
i’d have to admit that he’s not one of my close friends
but i’ve got a certain soft spot for him and his family cos of ben (sigh~)
ben’s his brother. younger brother.
and since we spent so many days together during chinese new year, well, u know lah~

when they announced that he’s this year’s winner, i stopped, stared, then started screaming!
hahahaha..
i didnt really expect him to win
i mean, out of 50 of ‘em (49 to be exact.. adrian didnt show up.. i wonder why? hmmmmmmm…)
there were so many men there
but he beat the likes of alex and ebi and stuff
damn proud wei
dont know why but there’s a glowing pride hahaha
maybe its cos of ben
who knows
whatever it is, HE WON!!!!!!!!!!!
WHOOPIEEEEEE………!!!
:)

here are some of the pictures that i managed to take
most of the pictures are with friends

su ann or better known as pinkpau
she’s one very intelligent girl
she can really write
and for someone her age, she’s got the brains of a very mature person!
met her last year during rainforest
always bubbly, always has an opinion about something
she’s one to look out for
she’ll probably be one to lead and to bring change however big or small the change may be.
probably already changed a lot of lives without knowing it

the cute ringo
she’s one of the malaysian dream girls
met her before a looooooong time ago with kenny at laundry bar
very sweet girl.. the icing atop cupcakes kind :)
i think her current look is really nice. mature yet cute.
but yet she looks heaps younger then she use to look.

christine ng
she’s got a blog as well but since she blogs anonymously, i shan’t include her link here
she’s a very easy going person
i find it very easy to hold a conversation with her!
kenny passed her our tix
and at first i was wondering which christine this is
but when i saw her, i realised that i’ve already met her before thru nicole!
very fun person :)
definitely someone to befriend!

juliana!
i tell u, this girl also another one hahaha
she cracks me up!
plus she is another amazing dancer as well!
but i guess we’ll have to make her a little high first
mwahahahahahaha
she’s bubbly, and she loves to have fun
and she doesnt care what ppl think about her
my kinda person!
and i’ve promised her we’d go dancing soon
and i’m going to keep that!
i need to dance more!
great way to stay in shape
plus it makes me happy
especially if its a good night out with a bunch of close friends
even better!
so, juliana! u’re going to be my next victim!!!
:)

our attempts at camwhoring

right before they announced this year’s winner.
christian was there as well
he was to ‘pass on’ the torch or something haha
he’s actually looking better compared to 2 years ago when i first met him
but i guess time changes people
he use to be such a rugged sheepish looking boy
he’s still cute no doubt
(and i wonder how ’someone-i-am-yet-to-name’ can say he’s not a celeb.. i think the other small penis guy is just JEALOUS!)

brian the bachelor
he looked so happy!
well deserved thou
managed to catch him before he was whisked away to meet the press

budak melanau
hosting pun pakai baju biasa…
tsk tsk tsk
but thats rashid for u la
hahaha
no changing this man
and he loves his guiness
so if anyone wants to buy him anything, make sure its a guiness!
(is it just me or does he look more chinese then me?)

christian capes.
he was last year’s bachelor
damn he’s tall
i’m in my 4 inch heels and he’s still waaaay taller then i am *grumble grumble*
he use to be able to lean his head on mine!
well, that night he was still the centre of attention.
girls were going up to him asking for pictures
him and brian la..
tsk tsk tsk… these famous ppl… tsk tsk tsk

KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!
dont u just feel like pinching his cheeks?
he’s SO DAMN ADORABLE!!!
SO CUTE!!!
(i realized i’ve been using the word ‘cute’ too damn often… its so NOT me! but what to do, the ppl i’m hanging out with are all so cute!)
geram geram geram!
he looks like he has make up on
can we turn him into a teddy bear a?
sure super damn cute eh!
aiyoooooo……….

that’s cynthia of thatgirlcynthia
she’s probably the luckiest girl in malaysia right now
i mean, what could be better then dating THE most eligible bachelor?
she’s really pretty, this one
i think she’s got a very pretty and sweet smile!
she’s like this petite lil chili padi!
sizzling hawt~
oh and she dances as well
as in, with a group!
i dont think i’ll ever wanna dance around these ppl
make me look like a giant troll with 3 left feet doing the chicken dance!

my two fav boys of the night~
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee geram!

edit: eeeps! shit shit… i totally forgot bout johann! dang~

{April 26, 2008}   mixology launch @ zouk

before heading to zouk, i dropped by palate palatte
they were screening this movie called ‘I Know I’m Not Alone’
its by this musician called Michael Franti.
He went to the war torn countries with a crew of about 5 people to document how music can cross borders to change lives.
here is the LINK.
if u are interested in getting the DVD, u’ve got to contact him personally.
i personally love what he did.
some may just brush him off by saying that a lot of people can achieve what he has achieved,
i’d like to see u try!

met effa there!
she’s one who knows how to have fun yet work hard
respect.

after that i went to zouk alone but met up with nawal and veron there..

she’s one girl who knows how to have fun!
she’s got the cutest dance moves ever!

kinda miss having her and fizzy around in the house

he’s some model from Dubai..
i was dancing on the center podium when he came up to me and tapped my shoulder asking me for a dance
after a while i felt a little uncomfortable with his dancing style so i left to join weird again
then i saw him hitting on more chinese girls
so i’m guessing his taste are in chinese girls
that or he thinks they’re easy
hahahahahahahah

i cant wait!
havent gone dancing for ages already!

see u guys there?
tick tock tick tock

no no i’m not joking
u’ll probably laugh yourself to death after i tell u what happened.

i drove my car into the ditch.
yes indeed.
was on jalan tengas 8/8.
its the road right outside agathians.
its a narrow one way street with cars parked on either side of the road.
and there was an on coming lorry in the wrong direction
i was trying to avoid the lorry,
and there was a car behind me
so i swerved to the left
and my left tire went INTO the ditch
yea yea…
laugh away…

i myself laughed
the minute it happened i started laughing.
i must have turned loco
but its pretty hilarious, dont u think?!
my back tire was hanging in the air wei
hahahahaha
and in my attempt to climb outta the car,
i grabbed the top side of my car
and failed to remember that gravity still exist.
needless to say, the car door slammed right into my hand.
hurts like a bitch.
still hurts now.
damnit.

i’m an embarrassment!
mwahahahahahaha

this may not look like much, but the back right tire was hanging in the air!
like literally OFF the ground!

thats the dent i made trying to reverse my car out

sigh~
(shakes head)

me so excited me so excited me so excited!

u’ll probably never understand how i feel right now,
but the high that one gets after a good/satisfying performance is…… indescribable!
its just… AWESOME!

me likey likey :)
i LOVE the high…
makes me oh so happy :)

{April 20, 2008}   5 places in 7 hours

what a crazy day today have been!
ok ok i did not exactly have an early start since i had migrane.
was suppose to start the day at 12pm.
soundcheck at the civic centre for Akadami Fantasia’s 5th concert.

yea yea..
it was a damn last min thing
so i didnt think of informing ppl.
but yes, i was PLAYING THE DHOL LIVE ON TV!
and it was AMMMAAAAAZZZZZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGGGGG~!

i got there at about 8pm? (yea i think so…)
and then had some dinner..
cos the show was only going live at 9pm
so after dinner, we had a quick soundcheck.
but before that the rest of the boys had to get their makeup done
hahaha
they didnt like it but, well, its tv

i was in a super hyper mood cos i had 6 panadols before that without food
so it was like being on some alco spree or something hahaha
going up there wasnt nerve wreaking this time round
probably cos i was so drugged out and i was playing the dhol
plus there were to be other ppl playing the dhol as well!
but i think the best part of it all was that the sound was amazing in that hall!
i loved the feeling of playing in such a well acoustic-ed hall!
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh~!
not that we had much support
the people who were there were all for the students
neglected us
haha
but i had a blast!
apparently i was being focused on 80% of the time seeing as i was the only girl playing the dhol..
hehe, sorry boys~

after the performance, i decided that i was waaaaaaaaay too hyper to go home
so i decided to give rashid a ring
wanted to bug him
and he said he was at some pub in bangsar
Dragon something something @ bsc
so i went there
joined them for a while
had baileys and a glass of beer
watched liverpool win (damnit)

and then at 12am i left bangsar to head into town to catch a midnight movie
mark and sunny decided to join me
rav was there with jess
so it was 5 of us watching Fool’s Gold
i love that movie!
i’ve ALWAYS loved movies with some treasure or historical elements in it.
plus this was hilarious!
i wouldnt mind catching this movie again some time..
hmmm..

after we were done with the movie, mark said he wanted to go join his friends at 21kitchen
that’s in changkat bukit bintang
and since i said i didnt wanna drive, we took sunny’s car
both me and mark left our cars at pavilion.
upon reaching TwentyOne, we met kenneth and zuki there
and then gerry
and then guess who showed up?!
FAIZAL!!!!
he was drunk by then hahahahaha
it was mark (another mark) ’s bday
and mark was celebrating it with ryzal (whom i have not seen in a loooong while)
but since we reached at 2:30pm, there wasnt much we could do
i had another baileys.
i’m loving baileys hahaha
they dont make me drunk
plus it taste ten million times better then chivas or vodka..

after loads of hugging and laughing with them boys, they decided to head to frangipani
mark and sunny decided not to go in
(for fear they got gay-ed over)
so we stood outside chatting for a while
and i spent it talking to faizal
and then they decided to go makan

went to jalan haji taib
had bahkuteh
the rice was not how i remembered it to be thou
not sure whether its the same one that justin brought us to eons ago or not
gotta ask him~
and there was a fight
typical drunkards
whole bunch of indian dudes
HUGE bunch of em
thank goodness we were sitting in side
cos they started throwing bottles, chairs.. the whole works
some poor guy was being beaten up with em chairs as well
i think they were fighting and walking and running at the same time
where they ended up at, i’ve got no idea
but if u as me, i think its a ploy to get outta paying for their food and drinks!

and then it was back to pavilion to pick up our cars
the ticket machines were all out of service
the only place we could pay for the ticket was at B1
so had to repark my car and walk all the way down
it was all good thou
exercise, getting fat~

so there it is
my boring night
which i’ve decided to share with u at such an unholy hour just cos i’m happy
and i’ve found my happiness and ’high’ for life back
its all in a good performance
nothing like a good performance to find perspective again
no amount of alcohol can bring such joy and happiness
:) :) :)

ok…
enough of babbling
need to get make up off
and also to hit the sack
in hopes i can get up in time to catch the rerun of AF!

i’m going to watch myself on tv!!!!!
:D

{April 10, 2008}   ripped off! humph~

the minute i set foot in kl i was already being ripped off by cab drivers.
but this time i barely had a choice.
had to rush for meeting.
and it cost me RM30!

humph~

omg~
the kids at the orphanage are SO DAMN CUTE!
we made a visit to the home yesterday
sadly there was a miscommunication so we couldnt do much
but we berjaya held a ‘fellowship of the ring’
all of us were sitting in a circle (the ring) and poobalan was cycling all around us and whacking rav everytime he passes rav.. hahaha..
poobalan is SOOOOOO ADORABLE!

ok anyhow, we were all sitting around

and we had a meeting with the 7 kids that will be performing for Rock Up!
i’ll elaborate on Rock Up! in coming posts (when i get back to civilization)
and these few kids just blurted out the darnest things!

Scene No. 1

bose suddenly just turned to me and went like

Bose: (points at me) you, Ah Ka.
(turns to may)

Bose: (points at may, looked at me and went… ) she, sister.
(points at pam)
Bose: she, auntie.

( … silence… )

All: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahahaha……

pam buta only kena…
hahahaha…
hilarious thou nonetheless

Scene No. 2

boy points at rav’s leg
Boy: So many chicken, your leg!
(meaning its super huge la)

( 3 seconds of pregnant silence…)

All: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahaha…..

i tell u a…. kids nowadays are so cute…
they just say whatever that comes to mind
so innocent
so adorable
but, well, they are innocent and adorable till they start picking on u and utilizing their ’cuteness’

now for more pictures of em kids

in a serious discussion

what a contrass..
do not ask me his name, i do not know what his name is.
go ask may. or pam.

frustrated but still listening intently

he wasnt in the 7 but he wanted to sit there to ‘keh poh’ (be a busybody)

the heat and scorching sun was killing us all!
kesian him..

he loves the camera..
there is a SLIGHT possibility that he might be a camwhore in the future..
kekeke…
he’s got some pretty good trainers to train him on that ;)

june from jun’s talent text me rather last minute to see whether i was free for a shoot or not.
and i promised her i would help her out.
but little did i know what was installed for us.

we were to gather at pavilion at 5a.m.
since it was so early in the morning, i decided to for-go sleep
and when i got there, i was the first to climb into the van that was waiting for us there
another 2 chinese girls got onto the van and one of em stared at me.
and suddenly she asked me “u are christy right?”
and i went like “errrrrhhhh…… yeeeeeaaaaaaahhhh…”
so that was the start to a whole load of words being exchanged.
we were talking and talking and talking that june actually thought we knew each other prior to the shoot!
(turns out she acted in Emperor with adrian, aliff and crystal)

anyhow, when we got to putrajaya, we were left to makan.
and gosh!
they treated us like dirt!
US as in the LOCALS.
there were a whole load of foreign models there
and a lot of local chinese models as well.
i really dont care how they treat me cos i was lacking sleep so i couldnt care less
but i felt bad for the rest of the girls who wanted to much to be in ads
i mean, they really treat the local models like dirt!
not only are they paying so little, they also are more rude towards the chinese girls.
and when they speak to the foreign models, they are super polite.
like HELO~ havent u looked in the mirror recently? do u SEE the similarities?
oh but i guess not.
oh well.

breakfast.

first location.
the house.

the transporters

i love the morning sun.
looks like we’re not in malaysia!

the ‘closet’

all the pictures from the various different locations in between, i do not have.
keith has them.
let me tell u, the positions we had to be in were NOT easy to be in.
its so hard its not funny!

this is from our last location
we went to heritage row.
this is the junction at bed, cynna, and atrium

them setting up for the shoot

from left, grace, ling and me
grace is the girl to whom i was chatting to in the van and the rest of the morning.
she is a full time actress.
she’s currently filming a drama series alongside claudine from love perhaps!
what a small small world!
ling manages dennis lau the violinist.
even smaller world!

i honestly cannot remember their names
so sorry!
and yes, they made us wear the oddest stuff.
i looked so old!
wait, i AM old~

jeslyn.
she was in the van with us in the morning, and at the breakfast table.
but neither of us really talked to her.
but i got to talk to her in the bus when we were seated together
and i found out that she is from penang and is only down in kl for training.
she’s so nice!

alexandra..
she looked so familiar to me
and then i found out, she knows prakash as well!
and a few other Oral Stage members
and i think she use to study in sedaya
and use to hang out with another ling from penang..
so thats probably where i’ve met her before
and she was joking bout how she can never take a decent pictures.
so…..

TADA~!

this man in green is one of the directors, i think.
look closer, u’ll see what the other models are doing.
time to SQUINT~!

wait…
hold on….
better idea.
ZOOM!

hahahaha.. yes now THIS is the odd part!
we had to LIE on the HOT floor and tiles!
and even around some fountain in the middle of putrajaya under the freaking hot sun at 11am plus!

everyone else waiting for the shoot to end.
t’was a looooooooooooooooooooong day

with emma our stylist and fashion consultant.
she’s so cute la..
ok, maybe not cute. but hilarious!
u should listen to the things she says!
super cute!
hahahahaha

this is keith from applebox.
he was our ’shepard’
like our dear sweet emily from i-like entertainment

sani… one of em transporters..
he said the whole crew voted me the best talent of the day
so sweet la he

final frame…!
waiting impatiently to scream FREEDOM!

and its a wrap!

all the koreans under the tent..
hahahaha… it started raining the minute they called it a wrap!
i think even the skies were happy cos they’ve been holding out their ‘pee’ for so damn long

with the korean crew
dont u think koreans have ONE distinctive look?
its like u can tell them apart anywhere anytime!
oh but kesian them la…
it was so hot mid afternoon and they had to set things up here and there that most of em got a tan!
like the guy in green, Lee, his arms were totally TWO toned!
no joke!
i’ve got a picture of it somewhere..
lemme look for it!

hmmmmm….

there u go!

OMG~ kecik-nya the picture!
time to squint again!
sorry~

the female directer!
either she’s a directer as well or she is representing the product.

eh, wait, i think i failed to mention what product we were shooting for.

wait for it

wait for it..

waaaiiittt foooorr iiiitttttt………….

KOREAN TILES!

HAH!
did u guess it right?
all the lying on floors and steps and crap…
hahahahahahaha

last but not least, my DEAR SWEET JUNE!!!!!
she’s SOOOOOOO cute and funny and nice hahahaha

cute kan cute kan?
like wanna cubit her cheeks hahahahaha
i finally found someone to replace me hehe
:)

{April 7, 2008}   check this out!

ok this is a video link that joceypie sent me..
its hilarious!
she loves him.
who doesnt?!

and this is, if i’m not mistaken, one of the featured songs on the malaysian hit drama series, Ghost.
its not the first time i’m hearing it but because i’ve forgotten bout this song, its refreshing to hear it again.
the thing with this song is that i’ve like it since the minute i heard it being played at Rojak.
they played it during the transition of plays.
and i’ve been hooked on it ever since!
there something bout this song that is just so captivating. (to me at least)

here it is.
Gabriel by Lamb

enjoy~
