after donkey’s years of NOT exercising, today’s futsal session was an interesting one…
i’ve got ZERO stamina wei….!
its so so so embarrassing…..
dont know where to put my face…

not even ten minutes into the game and i’m already feeling light headed…
and i realise, the last time i played futsal was approximately 2 and a half years ago!
that was when ee zern and trever were still around..!
donkey years ago wei!

okok… i need to start working out……..
monday nights are ladies night at the challenger
now all we have to do is find another girl to play with us and we’ll get everything for half price..
we’re thinking of dragging jacky in hahaha…
make her the keeper or something and we’re sorted!

and if that does not work out, i’ll try jogging…..
but jogging here in cheras….?! dangerous sial…

futsal aside, was at pasar seni earlier on..
met up with our designer
got our band outfit done..
i hope mine will turn out ok..
and its gonna be a big thing for maslina as well seeing as the ‘uniform’ will be worn at MIFA
i’m nervous now!
and hopefully it doesnt come out looking like some half china half sesat kinda top.. *sweat*
and on top of that, all the malaysian designers and international designers will be there…
malaysia’s top models will be there as well..
how la weeeeeeeeiii…….?!

there are some things in life that are just plain ridiculous
there are also some people in life that are just plain ridiculous
and no matter how much u try to understand them and to be patient with them,
they just seem to take u for granted
they’d step all over u
put u in the blender
blend u up side down
and pour your remains out on the sidewalk so that millions of people can walk all over your guts

In other words, people are like cats
When they do not need you, they will just ignore you
But when the need arises,
They’ll wipe their fur all over you and you’ll find it really hard to get them fur off

brutal as i may sound,
this is a fact of life
there are people out there that are just that mean, heartless and cold
not to forget,
ridiculous

but yet, should we still try to understand them?
should we pity them?
should we continue being friends with them?

some may say that we should rid ourselves of these people for they are toxic
but on the other hand,
they are humans as well
ignorant people but they are ultimately still humans
humans who have feelings
(some might argue that certain of these people really do not have feelings)
humans who, at one point in their lives might feel a slight pang of regret
or even a little bit of hurt
and wouldnt staying away from these people push them to be worse?
social outcast
yes
but it would do them no collective good
but if we stay friends with them
we might get affected as well
so is it that only the stronger of people should withstand them and brave the road of uncertainty?

today was the first time in ages that i’ve really gotten the chance to hang out with the gang…
the gang meaning lallu, linda, may, nic, kennee, zeem… (all u missing ppl, please come along next time round! u know who u are)
and honestly, it was refreshing!
really miss those times when we use to hang out..
go for dinner, catch a movie, or just hang at the mamak and talk bout our childhood or the ‘hostel days’!
gosh…. how fast time flies!
i’m known all these nutheads for more than 3 years already!
…..

anyhow, tonight started out as typical as always…
everyone being late… and undecisive….
and we were wondering around midvalley trying to decide on something…
and kennee went missing… but found his way back thru linda *wink wink* hehehe
but at least in the end we decided on italianis @ the gardens
and it turned out to be a pretty good choice!
the place was quiet (we were the only other group of ppl there)
the music was great
the ambience was even better…
the food was not too bad either! i liked the pasta actually hehe…
and with all the pasta, it got to our heads…

the pasta made them ‘la la’

and after that, these peeps suggested that we go for bowling..
but before that, we had the usual indecisive session.. which brought about a photo session!

and so off we went to the bowling alley…
but they decided that it was way too expensive for a game…
so we walked out…
and the guys got tempted to go into the arcade centre right beside the bowling alley…
and since the guys were so into their shooting games, us girls went and played Daytona!

i know…. i AM a huge camwhore….. (and i need a camera……………………………!!)

and after a game, the guys came and crashed our racing party…
and they trashed us…
i suck at daytona…. but it was hilarious! hahahahaha…

on the way out, while fatty was paying his parking ticket, they spotted this, and made me do…

…… this! do i really look like her? (need to go back there some other day and take a better picture)

after that, it was off to nirvana in bangsar…
just like old times…
thats probably the most frequented mamak that we go to after a movie or a night out at mv..
even the waiters know us!

peeps, even though i dont get to hang out much with y’all, do know that i love u guys to bits… and that i’ve got your back in whatever situation..

its always easy to say, “do the right thing!”
and yes, of course we know that we’ve got to do the right thing and that life is all about choices
but doing the right thing is yet another thing in itself.

doing the right thing is probably one of the hardest things to do.
and most the time, we’d know deep down inside, what the right thing is
and a lot of us tend to seek advice from our friends or from a third or fourth….. or even fifth party all just to find an easier way out of doing the right thing… or, to convince ourselves that the right thing is really the right thing.
but, no matter how many people we ask, at the end of the day, its all down to us.
and the stronger of people would choose to do things the right way

why is doing the right thing hard?
thats because it hurts
it is painful
and sometimes, doing the right thing would hurt others around us
and it is not necessary that they would understand or come to terms with it
and because some fear the rejection, they’d take the easy way out and suffer the consequences later on in life

i’ve had my fair share of ‘doing the right thing’ and also of taking the easier way out.
i can honestly tell you that i’ve regretted some of the decisions i’ve made in the past
and i’ve learnt from them
learnt from them the hard way
but that works for a stubborn person like me.

but even though i regret some of those whimpish decisions,
i do not sit and wallow in regret
but rather, i gather what i’ve learnt, what i have in my hands, weigh my future and move on
it wasnt easy, no.
but no matter how hard and painful the decision seems, it is always for the best
and if your friends do not understand you and take it against you,
the sad reality is that we’ve got to leave them behind for a while.
i’m not suggesting that you completely drop them out of your life. No!
but rather, just give them time.
in time, things will become clear
intentions will be clear
but it takes time

but if after donkey’s years have passed and they still take it against you,
just forget them!

that is gua’s commercial. and yes, i’m being a little vain putting it up.. but can u really blame me? its my first commercial wei! hahahaha… now try and spot me!  not sure whether u’ve seen it on tv before or not (i personally haven’t cos i don’t watch tv) but this is a really good site (i’m not being bias!!)..

its very informative.. has everything you want.. ranging from entertainments, lifestyle, relationship tips, interviews with celebs/musicians, forums, links to blogs, photography, horoscope, dedications, videos and a lot more!

for those of you who knows me well enough, you’d know that i’ve got a very short attention span. which is why i’m constantly looking for things to do, places to go, even if its for a quiet night out.. and one fine night when i was sitting in front of my computer being a facebook addict (yes! i admit it! i’m an addict..~), i remembered there is this thing called gua.com.my… so i went to check it out.. and just so happen the first section that caught my eye was the ‘cool happenings’ section…. and there was where i found out that i forgot about an event that i was interested in checking out! saved my life sial… not means i would have been a sad case sitting in front of the computer.. again… with facebook…. hahahahaha… oh oh… and in addition to that, the photo gallery helps too! cos sometimes we cannot attend everything that is out there so the pictures that are constantly being updated really helps!

on another note, i’m personally not a huge fan of celeb gossips (unless i’ve really got nothing else to do).. but there is a section for you peeps out there who would love to be updated on all them gossips of  your fav/local celebs… honestly, if it were me, i would love to keep my private life private… but i guess it is publicity to a certain extend… ah well……. 

my fav section would be the food and jalan-jalan section… its really annoying when we’re all out and everyone has no idea where to makan… and we sit there in the car or anywhere for hours trying to decide on where to eat… and with this section at least now i know that there are certain other places in kl that i’ve never heard of.. and we get to explore.. and possibly get lost en-route! mwahahahaha….

for those of you who has some nagging questions that you’ve always been too shy to ask, you can always send in your question to ‘ask amy’ and she’ll answer your questions with you staying anonymous…. OR, you could always come ask me as well… hahahahaha… i cannot guarantee a non-comical answer but i hope i can be of help?
